The operation of a large Saturation facility takes a dedicated team. The maintenance of the system component parts is managed by a team of Dive Technicians.

All the the element of the saturation system, the pressure vessel, the viewports, the hyperbaric fire suppressions systems, the gas analysers & gauges have servicing requirements. The Dive Technicians will have a comprehensive system to allow them to keep track of all the servicing requirements of the plant equipment.

On relatively small Saturation systems, DDC’s or Hyperbaric chamber its common that the Life Support or Diving staff to become responsible for maintenance of the pressure vessel and its component parts . It is very challenging to keep on top of the various servicing and inspection requirements. The key to this is a: Planned Maintenance Schedule.

PMS’s are an integral component in the upkeep of the servicing and inspection requirements of all the pressure vessel components.
