EXAMPLE
After filling a bail out bottle to 200 Bar it reaches a temperature of 32ºC. What pressure will it be at 5ºC?
Charles Law = P2 = P1 x T2 ÷ T1
So = P1 = 200bar, T1 = (32ºC + 273 Kelvin) = 305, T2 = (5ºC + 273 Kelvin) = 278
SO 200 bar x 278 ÷ 305 = 182.2
So P2 = 182.52 bar
